Terms of Use

1. The agreement
These terms are between you and Oth™, operated by Muhammed Jouher Kuttiyil as an individual trader (“we”). They add to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula), which licenses Oth™ to you. Where the two differ, Apple’s EULA wins on the licence, and these terms cover the rest. Apple isn’t a party to these terms.
2. Using Oth
You can use Oth™’s free features (the dial, your Oths, reminders, one list and Autoflow) for as long as you like, with or without signing in. Buying Oth™ Pro doesn’t need a sign-in either.
3. Your Oths are yours
What you write in Oth™ belongs to you. It’s kept on your iPhone. It’s never kept on any server of ours. If your iPhone is lost or erased without a backup, we can’t recover it.
4. Oth Pro
- What it includes: your own lists, Home Screen widgets, planning ahead on the dial and daily quotes. The pricing screen shows the current list before you buy.
- Price: US$4.99 a month or US$34.99 a year (India ₹199 / ₹1,499; other countries in local currency). You’ll see your price before you buy.
- Free trial: 7 days, once per Apple Account. At the end of the trial you’re charged the plan’s price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Renewal: your subscription renews automatically each month or year at the current price, and your Apple Account is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Apple tells you before any price increase, as the law requires.
- Cancel: anytime, in iPhone Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, or in Oth™ via Manage subscription. Pro stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting Oth™ or your account doesn’t cancel it.
- Refunds: Apple handles them at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your legal rights, including any right to cancel under your local law as Apple applies it, aren’t affected.
- If a payment fails: Apple retries, and Pro stays on for up to 16 days while it does.
- If Pro ends: your Oths stay. Pro features lock again, and nothing is deleted.
- No lifetime plan, no Family Sharing.
5. Reminders depend on your iPhone
Oth™ uses your iPhone’s notifications to remind you. Your Focus and notification settings, Low Power Mode, a switched-off iPhone or iOS itself can delay or stop them. We work hard to make reminders reliable, but don’t rely on Oth™ alone for medical, safety-critical or legal deadlines.
6. Fair use
Don’t copy, resell or reverse-engineer Oth™, or use it to break the law or harm anyone.
7. Our work
Oth™ and the Oth™ logo are our trademarks (applications pending in India). The design, motion, sounds, quotes written for Oth™ and the app belong to us. Credited quotes come from public-domain translations. Third-party parts are listed in the app’s Acknowledgements under their own licences.
8. Changes
We may update Oth™, add or change features, or update these terms. For important changes, we’ll tell you in the app before they apply. If you don’t agree, you can stop using Oth™ and cancel Pro.
9. Ending
You can stop anytime: delete your account in Settings, delete the app, and cancel Pro with Apple. We may end your use of Oth™ if you seriously break these terms.
10. Liability
We provide Oth™ with reasonable care and skill. Otherwise, and as far as the law allows, Oth™ is provided as it is. We’re not liable for losses we couldn’t reasonably foresee, or caused by events outside our control. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for Oth™ Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
11. Complaints and disputes
Write to legal@oth.today first. We acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within one month. Our India grievance contact is named in the Privacy Policy. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. If you’re a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protection of your local law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
